Besides the coefficients\npublished by Luy for Italy, the package derives\ncontext-specific coefficients (weighting factors,\nreference-period parameters and the conversion of the mean age\nat childbearing of surviving parents to that of all parents)\nfor any population and survey date from user-supplied period\nfertility, population, cohort mortality and period life table\ndata, following the procedure of Luy (2009)\n<https://www.oeaw.ac.at/fileadmin/subsites/Institute/VID/PDF/Publications/EDRP/edrp_2009_03.pdf>.\nEstimates are harmonized into comparable adult mortality\nindicators (30q30, 45q15 and e30) with a relational logit\nmodel, and diagnostic tools assess the sensitivity of results\nto the mean age at childbearing and to the choice of model life\ntable family.",
